Too Good to Be True? Dealing with Doubt
John 20:19-31
April 24, 2022
- To what degree do your communities consist only of people you agree with?
- What would it look like for you to be more inviting to those who see things differently?
- In what ways do you pretend you have it all together when it comes to faith?
- What would it look like for you to be real with Jesus about your doubts?
- How good are you at bringing your doubts to Jesus for him to deal with—in the context of community, and by expressing your doubts to other believers?
- Jesus said that we who believe without seeing are more blessed than the first disciples who did see the risen Jesus.
- In what way does that reminder change things for you?
- We are the successors of the disciples whose ministry changed the world and shaped our lives.
- What should it look like for us to live into that legacy?
