In January 2018, Holy Trinity sent thirteen people to Cambodia to assist in the construction of a couple of houses in Happy Village, a project initiated by Serve Cambodia as they reach out to poor people who have been displaced from their homes. Along with the construction, the team also spent time connecting with children at Tashara’s Legacy Centre (TLC) a school that provides additional education opportunities for primary aged children. Visits to a couple of the poorer parts of Phenom Penh were also part of our project as we traveled out to the local garbage dump to play with the children that live there with their families as well as to provide opportunities for those who desired it, to have their hair washed.
