Since 2010, Holy Trinity has sent three teams to Sierra Leone in an effort to reach out to people in one of the poorest nations in the world. During two of the trips we partnered with Mission Direct–an international mission organization–to assist with the construction of The City of Rest, a drug rehabilitation and psychiatric healing centre. Our most recent trip saw members of Holy Trinity partner with Mission Direct in the construction of an elementary school on the outskirts of Freetown.

At Holy Trinity we believe that God wants us to reach out to people in need. Our focus on Sierra Leone has helped us to do that. Not only have we been able to help those who are less fortunate, but we have also been blessed ourselves as we have formed relationships with people in that country. It is our hope that there will be further opportunities to reach out to the people of Sierra Leone.
